Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Nutrition is important throughout life. It has a huge impact on the short- and long-term health of preterm infants. Preterm birth survivors are at a higher risk of growth and developmental disabilities compared to their term peers. Appropriate nutrition has long lasting benefits, particularly for prevention of later life chronic diseases.
This year, we will focus on the impact of nutrition of preterm infants, the benefits of running a milk bank and consequences of nutrition on their developmental outcome.
It has become a tradition of this conference that young Swiss neonatologists and paediatricians have the opportunity to present their research projects as short oral presentations or during a poster walk. Please be sure to submit your abstract prior to October 31, 2019 and indicate your preferred mode of presentation (oral or poster).
We invite you to be part of this meeting, meet each other and spend an interesting day in St. Gallen.
